Thursday 25th August was an exciting day for us at Berry's with us holding two incredible events on the same day!
We began with our annual Heather & Honey Run, where over 60 vintage cars gathered at Berry's before setting off to travel and explore the moors. Returning for lunch, 123 slightly damp but happy drivers and their navigators enjoyed a delicious buffet in our marquee courtyard.
Our happy drivers who went home with a jar of Heather Honey (kindly supplied by our local supplier, Yorkshire Honey Packers and available to buy from Berry's Farm Shop) and very full stomachs, we collectively raised a fantastic £1072.70 which will be split between two very deserving charities: Addington Fund and The Farming community Network, who support the British farming community.
After a quick break, it was onto the next event, Music in the Courtyard. Guests enjoyed an evening of fine food and music under the marquee in our courtyard. Over 25 local musicians, of all ages entertained the lucky 60+ guests. It was great to see and hear all the marvellous talent the Dales has to offer.
A day of drizzle did not dampen spirits and we managed to raise over £600 for BlueBoxt Productions initiative for local young artists. We are still hoping to raise more and help them reach their target of £1000. If you would like to donate, please call in to the café ( we have collecting tins located at all pay points) or visit their website.
A massive thank you to all of our customers, and participants for your support. Please sign up to our newsletter or check out the website for future events.
